What LeadsHQ does

What is LeadsHQ?

LeadsHQ is an Australian pay-per-lead generation platform that delivers exclusive, SMS-verified sales leads to solar and electrification businesses. Solar is our number one vertical — residential, commercial, and battery storage — and we also generate leads across heat pump hot water, air conditioning (ducted and split systems), energy plans, and home improvement categories, including roofing and outdoor living. We run paid ad campaigns to find homeowners actively looking for these services, then route the verified enquiry to a single client — no shared leads, no race to the phone, no lock-in contracts. Founded in 2022 under Axis Social, who’ve been running paid ads for trade businesses for over a decade. We hold a 5.0 star average across 20 verified Google reviews.

What industries does LeadsHQ work with?

Solar and electrification are our core — residential solar, battery storage, commercial solar, heat pump hot water, and air conditioning (ducted and split systems) all fall under that umbrella. We also sell energy plan leads and home improvement leads, including roofing and outdoor living (outdoor blinds, awnings, patio, curtains, blinds and shutters). If your business sells one of those products in Australia and your team can call leads back fast, we can probably help. We don’t sell into industries we haven’t built a high-quality lead source for, even if asked — generating good leads is harder than it looks, and selling bad ones isn’t a business we want to be in.

Who buys leads from LeadsHQ?

Our typical client is a solar installer or electrification contractor doing $1M to $50M a year. Some are owner-operators with one or two reps, others are scaled call-centre operations. We work for both, but they win for different reasons — owner-operators close on the founder halo, larger teams close on disciplined follow-up. What every successful LeadsHQ client shares: an effective lead management and sales process.

What types of leads do you sell?

Every LeadsHQ lead is exclusive — we never share, split, or resell. Within that, we deliver: residential solar leads, battery storage leads, commercial solar leads, heat pump hot water leads, air conditioning leads (ducted and split systems), energy plan leads, and home improvement leads (roofing, outdoor blinds, awnings, patio, curtains, blinds and shutters). You pick which verticals you want by postcode, based on the volume your team can actually handle.

How leads work

How does LeadsHQ generate leads?

Paid ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Google, and YouTube. Each ad sends interested homeowners through a multi-step qualifying form that captures their service need, property context, postcode, and timeframe. They consent under TrustedForm, verify their phone with a 6-digit SMS code, and we route the verified enquiry to one client based on service area and capacity. We do not use cold-calling, email lists, outbound spam, co-registration, or any other low-quality lead generation tactics — paid digital advertising only, transparently. We run separate funnels for each vertical (solar has different qualifications to heat pump hot water to outdoor living), so the leads are genuinely qualified for your service type. We’ll show you the actual ads we run if you want to see them.

How are leads delivered?

In real time via email notification, SMS notification, Google Sheet, and/or CRM integration — whatever combination works best for your business. Most clients run CRM plus SMS alert, so a rep can call inside 5 minutes — the conversion difference between calling at 5 minutes and 30 minutes is roughly 4x, so the speed isn’t optional. We integrate natively with Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, and via Zapier with most other CRMs.

What information comes with each lead?

Every lead arrives with: full name, phone number (SMS verified), email, full address with postcode, the answers they gave to your qualifying questions, the timestamp of consent, and the TrustedForm consent certificate. You see everything we captured — no held-back fields, no upsell to “premium qualification” for data you should already have.

Are LeadsHQ leads exclusive or shared?

Exclusive only. Every lead goes to one installer based on service area and your capacity — never split, never resold to a second buyer if you don’t close. Why it matters: shared leads (where one homeowner enquires through a comparison site and is sent to 3-5 installers) convert significantly lower because the homeowner is fielding multiple calls in the first hour. Our exclusive leads convert better because there’s no race. Same homeowner, very different outcome for the installer.

How fast are leads delivered after the homeowner enquires?

From the moment a homeowner finishes the SMS verification step to the moment the lead lands in your CRM, it’s typically under 60 seconds. Real-time routing — no batch processing, no end-of-day delivery, no overnight queue. The sooner you call back from there, the better your conversion rate. We strongly recommend setting up an immediate notification so a rep can call inside 5 minutes.

What service area does LeadsHQ cover?

All Australian states and territories, with full postcode-level routing. You set your service area at signup — by state, by postcode list, or by radius around your depot. Leads are only sent to you if their address falls within your area. We’ll never send a Sydney lead to a Perth installer to “pad volume” — outside-area leads are automatically replaceable under our Lead Rejection Policy.

Verification, Quality, Compliance

How does LeadsHQ verify leads?

Every LeadsHQ lead clears a five-step verification chain before it reaches your CRM:
  1. Multi-step Qualification — the homeowner self-identifies need, intent, property type, postcode, and timeframe through a structured form, not a single name+phone capture.
  2. TrustedForm Consent Capture — independent third-party record of IP, timestamp, and form version, kept for audit.
  3. 6-digit SMS Verification — the lead enters a code on the form to prove the phone number is real and reachable.
  4. Real-time Exclusivity Touting — verified lead is sent to one installer based on service area and capacity.
  5. ACMA-Compliant Consent Record — kept on file and auditable on demand.
That way you’re speaking with verified and qualified homeowners, that meet your qualification criteria, in your target coverage area, with confirmed and document consent for you to contact then.

What does “SMS verified” actually mean?

It means the homeowner entered a 6-digit code we sent to the phone number they put on the form. It proves the number is real, in their possession at the time of submission, and reachable today. It does not by itself prove they own the property, have a particular bill size, or are about to buy. That’s why we combine it with multi-step conditional form qualification — together those answers the questions SMS alone can’t.

What is TrustedForm and why does LeadsHQ use it?

TrustedForm is an independent third-party consent capture service used across the lead generation industry. Every LeadsHQ form submission generates a TrustedForm certificate that records the IP address, timestamp, form version, and the page the homeowner consented on. The certificate is the evidence trail if you ever need to demonstrate consent for an ACMA audit, a DNC complaint, or a lawful customer dispute. It’s not optional on our leads. It’s on every single one.

Are LeadsHQ leads ACMA compliant?

Yes. Every LeadsHQ lead carries an ACMA-compliant consent record including IP address, timestamp, form version, TrustedForm certificate, and SMS confirmation. Records are retained and auditable on demand. ACMA compliance isn’t an upsell or a “premium tier” — it’s the floor. Lead generators who skip this step are creating risk for the installers buying from them, and we’d rather not be one of those generators.

What does “lead quality” mean at LeadsHQ?

Lead quality means: verified (SMS, TrustedForm, qualified through a real form), exclusive (only sent to you), real-time (delivered in seconds), and genuinely interested (the homeowner self-identified as ready to enquire). What it doesn’t mean: a lead that closes itself. Conversion depends on your sales process — speed of first call, follow-up cadence, and the quality of the conversation. We deliver leads that meet the quality definition above; closing them is a partnership.

Pricing

How much do solar leads cost?

In Australia, in H1 of 2026, exclusive, SMS-verified residential solar leads range from $50 to $100. Shared leads are cheaper (perhaps cost $20–$50 per lead) but convert at significantly lower rates. Below a certain cost threshold, you’re almost always buying shared, aged, or unverified leads.  Request pricing and we’ll send a real quote, not a brochure.

How much do commercial solar leads cost?

Commercial solar leads in Australia cost between $150 and $250 per lead in 2026. The price reflects the qualifications — decision-maker role, business owner, and higher energy bills. The commercial leads we sell are typically SMEs with installations ranging from 30 to 99kW.

Why are exclusive leads more expensive than shared leads?

It’s simple unit economics. Other providers are spreading the cost to generate a lead across 3 buyers and can therefore charge $20, whereas an exclusive lead will be $60.

Do you have a minimum spend or order?

No subscription, no monthly minimum. Leads are sold in bundles with no commitment to continue beyond a single bundle. Residential solar, energy, heat pump hot water, air conditioning, and roofing leads are sold in bundles of 50. Commercial solar leads are sold in bundles of 20 (smaller bundle because higher price per lead and longer sales cycle). No annual contract, no termination fee, no clause that locks you in if leads aren’t converting.

How is LeadsHQ priced—pay-per-lead or subscription?

Pay per lead. You pay for each verified, exclusive lead delivered into your CRM — nothing else. No setup fee, no monthly subscription, no campaign management retainer, no platform access fee. If we don’t deliver, you don’t pay. If you pause for a month, you don’t pay. The pricing is built on the model that we should only get paid when we put a real lead in front of you.

Contracts & Terms

Are there lock-in contracts?

No. Every LeadsHQ client buys on a pay-per-lead basis — pause, change, or cancel any time without penalty. No annual contracts, no minimum-term commitments, no “cancellation fees disguised as final invoices.” If our leads aren’t working for you or the needs of your business change, the right outcome is for you to stop buying! Not for us to lawyer our way into a few more invoices. The only contract clauses we have cover mandatory consent compliance and how rejection requests are handled.

Can I pause my leads if I get busy or go on holiday?

Yes — pause any time, for any reason. Holidays, capacity crunch, slow seasonal patches, restructuring your sales team — all fine. Mechanics in our Volume Change Policy, but the short version: ask your account manager to pause and we’ll stop sending leads from the agreed effective date. You’re not charged for paused weeks. Restarting takes 24-48 hours because we have to rebuild ad audience targeting from a cold start — we’re a generator, not a light switch.

What is your lead rejection / replacement policy?

If a lead doesn’t meet the agreed qualification criteria, you can submit it for replacement within 2 business days of receipt. Common valid rejection reasons: incorrect contact details, lead is outside your service area, lead is not for your agreed service type, duplicate of a lead you’ve already received. Common invalid rejections: “they didn’t pick up,” “they decided not to buy,” or “they were tyre-kickers.” Full rules in our Lead Rejection Policy. We approve or query rejections within 2 business days.

How do billing and invoicing work?

Leads are purchased in bundles up front. We accept direct debit & credit card. Approved lead replacements are credited automatically against the next invoice rather than refunded — keeps the accounting simple. Full terms in our Billing Policy.

Comparison & trust

How is LeadsHQ different from Solar Quotes / HiPages / shared lead providers?

They run a shared-lead model — a homeowner enquires through their comparison site, then gets passed simultaneously to 3-5 installers (sometimes more). You’re racing your competitors to the phone. Conversion rates collapse because the homeowner is on five other calls. We do the opposite: one homeowner, one installer, no race. Conversion lifts. Same enquiry, completely different outcome for you. If you’ve used shared leads before, the difference shows up in your sales team’s morale within the first 20 leads — fewer dead-ends, more real conversations.

How is LeadsHQ different from running my own ads?

Two completely different bets. Running your own ads gives you full control over messaging and audience but can takemonths to dial in, requires Facebook + Google ad expertise (or an expensive agency on top of ad spend), and your cost per lead is variable until campaigns mature. Buying leads from us means you skip the build-out, get predictable cost per lead from day one, and pay only for verified delivered leads — but you trade some control over how the lead was acquired. Many of our clients run both: a stable LeadsHQ pipeline as the floor, owned-channel campaigns layered on for brand and exclusivity.

What if I’ve been burned by another lead provider before?

Shockingly common, most of our clients have been burned at least once. Common patterns we hear: “they sold the same lead to four installers,” “leads were aged or recycled from old lists,” “they locked me into a 12-month contract and the leads dried up.”, and “no one picked up”. We’re built around the opposite of each: exclusive only (one buyer per lead), real-time only (no aged lists), SMS verified, pay-per-lead with no lock-in. Start with one test batch — 50 leads — and judge us on the result, not the brochure.

What do clients say about LeadsHQ?

LeadsHQ holds a 5.0 average across 20 verified Google Business Profile reviews — the canonical source of customer sentiment for the brand. The reviews are visible by searching “LeadsHQ Sydney” on Google Maps, which is where our head office is. Frustratingly, we do also have a Trustpilot listing, but the reviews on it are submissions from non-clients we’ve formally disputed as fraudulent — Trustpilot doesn’t require proof of actual customer status. For a genuine read on what active LeadsHQ clients say, the Google reviews are the source of truth.

How many clients does LeadsHQ work with?

At any given time, between 30 and 50 across Australia. That’s deliberate. Other lead providers brag about having hundreds or thousands of installers in their “network” — that’s a red flag, not a flex. If they have a thousand clients, each one is getting a trickle of low-quality shared leads. We’re the opposite: we generate in excess of 10,000 leads per month and distribute them across a small, select group of high-quality professional installers who do a really good job with them. We don’t work with everyone who applies. We have qualification criteria because our existing clients wouldn’t want us if we didn’t. They chose us because we’re a bespoke lead generation partner, not a bulk marketplace. If we welcome you in, it means we believe your sales process and business quality will do justice to the leads we send — and that’s something to be proud of.

Getting Started

How do I get started with LeadsHQ?

Three steps:
  1. Request pricing — fill in a short form with your industry, service area, and rough volume target. We’ll send a real quote within 24 hours.
  2. Discovery call — 15-30 minutes with one of our team to walk through fit, your sales process, and answer specific questions.
  3. Go live — our digital signup process can have you live and receiving leads within a few business hours. Same-day leads are possible. Onboarding includes CRM integration setup and feedback loop training.

What happens in the first 30 days after I sign up?

You’ll get: a CRM integration set up (Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, or via Zapier), a Google Sheet feedback loop so you can flag lead quality issues that fine-tune campaign targeting, an introduction to your dedicated account manager, and your first batch of leads delivered in real time. Most clients see their first conversions inside week one. The full play-by-play is in our First 30 Days Client Guide — ask your account manager for a copy at signup.

What CRM does LeadsHQ support?

We integrate natively with Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, and Pylon, plus most other CRMs via Zapier. If your CRM isn’t on that list, our setup team will help you wire up a webhook integration during onboarding — typically takes 30 minutes. Every lead also lands in a shared Google Sheet you control, regardless of CRM, so you always have a fallback view if the integration ever drops.

Vertical-Specific

Why is solar your number one vertical?

Solar is where we started and where we’ve generated the most volume, spent the most on ads, and built the deepest qualification funnels. Residential solar, battery storage, and commercial solar together account for the majority of our lead delivery. The electrification thesis underpins everything we do — heat pump hot water, air conditioning, and the broader shift away from gas are all part of the same homeowner journey toward electric. We know this audience better than anyone because we’ve been buying their attention at scale since 2022.

Do you sell battery storage leads?

Yes. Battery storage is our second-largest vertical. Homeowners enquiring about battery typically already have solar installed, so the qualification form captures system age and bill information specific to battery use cases. Pricing sits lower than residential solar leads ($30–$50 exclusive). Volume is comparable to solar, but conversion rates are typically slightly lower (people still think batteries are cheaper than they are).

Do you sell commercial solar leads?

Yes. Commercial solar is a separate funnel — different qualification, different conversion expectations, different pricing. We capture company name, address, decision-maker role, and bill amount at form-fill. Sales cycles are longer but the deals are larger. Commercial leads cost $150–$250 each. Average installation size is from 30kW to 99kW.

Do you sell heat pump hot water leads?

Yes. The homeowner profile overlaps heavily with solar buyers because it’s the same “get off gas” electrification mindset. Qualification captures property type, current hot water system (electric, gas, solar), current system location and the specifics of the home (allowing you to rightsize the new heat pump).

Do you sell air conditioning leads?

Yes. Air conditioning — ducted and split systems — is its own vertical. Same exclusive, SMS-verified, pay-per-lead model. Sold in bundles of 50. Qualification captures verified homeowner, home details (single/double storey, type of power), property type,  project budget, and timeframe.

Do you sell energy plan leads?

Yes. Energy plan leads are for electricity retailers or comparison services looking to acquire residential customers switching plans.

Do you sell home improvement leads?

Yes. Beyond our electrification verticals, we generate leads for roofing, window furnishing, and outdoor living — including outdoor blinds, awnings, patio, curtains, and blinds and shutters. The homeowner profile overlaps heavily with our solar audience (someone investing in their home’s energy is also investing in their home generally). If your trade fits within that home improvement space, request pricing and we’ll confirm whether we’ve built a funnel that works for your category.

Still Have Questions?

The fastest way to get a real answer is to talk to us. Request pricing and we’ll set up a 15-minute discovery call to walk through fit and pricing for your specific business. Or contact us if you’ve got a question this page didn’t cover.
